Art Deco Dreams is a visually expressive, story-driven feature documentary series that explores how Miami Beach became the world’s most iconic Art Deco district—and the ongoing battle against greed and indifference to preserve its soul.

The film weaves rare archival footage, vivid B-roll, and intimate interviews with architects, activists, city planners, cultural ambassadors, historians, and longtime residents. From preservation victories and neon-soaked nights to political struggles and daring acts of resistance, Art Deco Dreams reveals the checkered saga of a city forged by ambition, scarred by natural disasters, shaken by the Depression, electrified by glamour, and reborn through a bold reinvention of its past. Produced by local historians and preservationists Damian Rudys and Doyle Forrestal. Premiering in 2026.
